Event description

Inspire our students/ Careers Event

Hi,

I’m writing in the hope that someone from your organisation will be able to support our Careers Fair in Holy Rood RC High School (named S4-6 Positive Destinations) on Wednesday 7th of February 2018.

We are hosting a Positive Destinations Event where many partnering organisations will have a small stall in our assembly area and be available to answer questions from senior pupils (S4-6) and parents. The aim is to increase pupil knowledge about careers/further education opportunities and help pupils making informed choices. The event will begin at 1pm – and end at approx. 6.30pm (This will allow for parents/carers to come into the school at the end of the day.)
The event will be run in our large school assembly hall and school will provide refreshments and catering for any organisation representatives able to attend.

The structure of the event is fairly loose and organisations will be free to discuss what their job involves and the types of opportunities available within the organisation. Pupils will be free to roam around the fair, visiting various different stalls gathering relevant information. We would anticipate roughly over 400 pupils passing through the fair throughout the day.

I would appreciate if you could confirm whether this is something that your organisation would be interested in supporting at your earliest convenience.

If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Regards,
